Legalization of Stay and Employment

IMPORTANT:

During the legalization procedure, it is legal to stay and work in Poland, provided specific conditions are met.
The application for a temporary residence permit, permanent residence permit, or long-term EU resident permit must be submitted while legally staying on the terriroty of Poland.
If this condition is met, during the submission process the competent voivodeship office employee will place a special stamp in the applicant’s passport.
The stay in Poland will remain legal for the entire duration of the residence legalization proceedings.
The stamp entitles the foreigner to stay in Poland but does not allow free movement across the Polish border or within the Schengen Area.
If the foreigner leaves Poland, re-entry will depend on fulfilling certain conditions, such as holding an appropriate visa.
